1. Introduction

Welcome to Just Automatic Driving School. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the driving lesson services we provide. By booking a lesson with us, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Just Automatic Driving School's services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Driving Lessons

Eligibility: To take driving lessons, you must be of legal age to drive and hold a valid UK provisional driving licence, which must be presented to your instructor on your first lesson.

Your Fitness to Drive: You must be medically fit to drive. It is your responsibility to inform your instructor of any medical condition or medication that may affect your ability to drive safely. You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during your lesson. If your instructor suspects you are unfit to drive, the lesson will be terminated, and you will be charged for the full lesson.

3. Bookings and Payments

Booking Confirmation: Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been made and you have received confirmation from us. All lessons must be paid for in advance.

Pricing: Our current lesson prices are displayed on our website's Pricing Page. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but any lessons already paid for will be honoured at the rate at which they were purchased.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Your Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide us with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. If you cancel a lesson with less than 48 hours' notice, or if you fail to attend a lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged, and the lesson will not be rescheduled.

Our Cancellation: In the unlikely event that your instructor needs to cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, vehicle breakdown), we will notify you as soon as possible. We will reschedule your lesson for the earliest mutually convenient time at no extra cost.

5. The Driving Test

Booking the Test: We can provide guidance on booking your practical driving test, but the booking and fee are your responsibility.

Use of School Vehicle: Your instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the school vehicle for your driving test if they believe your driving standard is not safe or does not meet the required level to pass. Using the school car for the test is typically charged as a 2 or 3-hour lesson to cover the pre-test warm-up, the test itself, and the journey home.

6. Liability

Our instructors are DVSA-approved and our vehicles are fully insured for driving tuition. However, Just Automatic Driving School is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a driving lesson if you, the student, are driving in a way that contravenes the instructor's explicit instructions or are driving illegally or negligently.

7. Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. We collect and store your personal data for the purpose of providing you with driving lessons and will handle it in accordance with UK GDPR. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
